Today we are here with news that will make you jump for joy, and no wonder! As we say here, we bring you “good news” that will make the hearts of Almagro and beyond beat strongly. Mark the dates of October 19 to 24, 2023 on your calendars, because the XXV NATIONAL MEETING OF LACEWORKERS arrives in our beloved city of Almagro.
If you are one of those who lives and breathes the art of lace, get ready for a week full of exciting activities. We start on Thursday the 19th with an “intensive tulle embroidery course”, followed by a “master class on the difference between Paris stitch and filigree” on Friday the 20th. That's not all! On Saturday the 21st, we will gather in the Plaza Mayor at 11 in the morning. It is a time to share moments and show our creations.
On Tuesday the 24th it is the turn of “an intensive course in wire lace jewelry.” What a programming, friends!
And there is more good news. The Lace Museum will be open and free on October 20 and 21, from 10 in the morning to 2 in the afternoon and from 4 in the afternoon to 7 at night.
This wonderful event is possible thanks to the Hon. Almagro City Council and has the collaboration of Coca-Cola EUROPACIFIC PARTNERS. A joint effort to make this celebration unforgettable.
