Next March 1th 2025, the Cordoba town of Puente Genil will become the capital of the art of bobbin lace with the celebration of XXI National Meeting of Bobbin Lace Makers. An event organized by the Maria Gorriz Association, which will bring together artisans from all over Spain in the Municipal Booth, from 10:00 a.m. to 14:00 p.m., on a day full of tradition, creativity and culture.
This event is much more than just a lace exhibition. It is a celebration of craftsmanship, where lacemakers can exchange knowledge, share experiences and, of course, show the public the delicacy and complexity of this ancient technique. Each stitch hides a story, and each piece reflects the effort and passion of generations of women who have kept this tradition alive.
