Come to the XVI Meeting of Lace Makers in Soria!
Dear friends,
It is a true honor to invite you to XVI Meeting of Lace Makers that will take place in our dear Main Square of Soria the next 29th September 2024. This event, organized with so much love by the Leonor de Soria Lace Makers Cultural Association and with the collaboration of Soria City Hall and the Soria Rural Savings Bank, promises to be a day full of art, tradition and community.
A little history
Soria, a city with a rich historical and monumental legacy, is the perfect setting for this event. Our Plaza Mayor, the heart of the city, has witnessed countless moments throughout the centuries. Since its configuration in the 13th century, it has been a meeting and celebration point for the people of Soriano.
Among the monuments that adorn our city, the Co-Cathedral of San Pedro, a jewel of Spanish Romanesque that I invite you to visit. We cannot forget the Church of Santo Domingo, with its impressive façade also in Romanesque style. And for those who enjoy a walk outdoors, the Dehesa Park, or Alameda de Cervantes It offers a green respite in the middle of the city, ideal for relaxing after visiting the exhibition.
