This coming October 6, our beloved city will be the epicenter of the XV National Bobbin Lace Meeting, which will be held in the majestic Exhibition Casino. What better way to start autumn in the Andalusian capital!
From 9:30 a.m. to 14 p.m., the Exhibition Casino will become a vibrant mosaic of threads and creativity, where bobbin lace lovers can delight in an unparalleled display. And not only that, but the event will have a very special exhibition: “Commemorating Velázquez on his 425th anniversary”, in which you can admire bolillo flamenco shawls, a fundamental piece in the traditional Sevillian costume. A true luxury for the senses!
On Saturday, October 5, you can also enjoy a unique preview: from 10 a.m. to 13 p.m. and from 17 p.m. to 19 p.m., the public will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the art of bobbin lace and appreciate the mastery of the artisans. And on the big day, October 6, the event will last from 10 in the morning until 13:45 p.m., culminating with a parade at 12 noon that promises to be an unforgettable spectacle.
