Come to Hinojosa del Duque to the XIV Lace Makers Meeting!

Did you know that in Hinojosa del Duque we have very beautiful and delicate traditional art? This is bobbin lace, which has been made in our town for centuries.
And to celebrate this art, every year we organize the Lace Makers Meeting. This year, the event is on Saturday, March 23, at 9:30 in the morning, at the “El Pilar” Municipal Pavilion.
Come meet our lace makers, learn about this art and enjoy a day of coexistence and fun!
At the meeting, the lace makers will show their work, both traditional and modern. There will also be workshops and demonstrations so we can all learn how to make lace.
In addition, there will be a market for crafts and local products, as well as a tapas and wine tasting.
On March 23, 2024, starting at 9:30 in the morning, the “El Pilar” Municipal Pavilion in Hinojosa del Duque will be the epicenter of the XIV Encuentro de Encajeras. It will be a day full of creativity and skills woven with love!
This wonderful meeting is courtesy of the Hinojoseñas Association of Women Lacemakers, who know the art of bobbins well. And, of course, we have the collaboration of the Hon. Hinojosa del Duque City Council, who make this party possible!
