Next April 25th 2026, the town of Alhaurín de la Torre Celebrates his XII Meeting of BobbinsAn event that is already a benchmark in the province and that this year promises to fill one of the most beautiful corners of the municipality with color and skill.
An encounter with tradition in the Duck Park
Organized by the Women's Association for JoyIn collaboration with the City Council, this event is not just an exhibition; it is a celebration of patience and creativity. From the 10:00 h until 14:00 h, Duck Park (on Mirador de Bellavista Street, 1) will become a giant open-air workshop.
Imagine the scene: the April sunshine, the scent of flowers in the park, and dozens of cushions decorated with white and colorful threads. It's the perfect opportunity for the youngest members of the family to discover that, long before screens and machines, magic was made with our hands. What's more, this year the poster proudly displays the "2025 Award-Winning Work," an exquisite piece of lace that reminds us of the exceptionally high level of the participants.

If you're coming from out of town for the meeting, I recommend you make the most of the rest of the day. Alhaurín de la Torre, affectionately known as "Alhaurín de las Flores," is a place that invites leisurely strolls and visual enjoyment.
