Special Tablecloths

Description

El Bordado de Lagartera, so called because its birthplace is the town of the same name, in the province of Toledo (Spain).

It is one of the most typical and well-known Spanish embroideries. This embroidery has several characteristics, the main one being that it is almost always done with counted threads.

This magazine offers graphics of Lagartera's drawings in two techniques: Counted threads and drawing to apply to work such as tablecloths, cushions, etc.; in addition to explanations of the basic points and guidelines used to carry it out.
