Palestrina Embroidery

Description

This point is originally from Italy. It consists of three different stitches: In the first, the needle is inserted into the fabric perpendicularly, taking a millimeter of thickness; In the second, the needle is passed to the left of the work through the first stitch, only taking the thread and without passing it through the fabric; and in the third, a blanket stitch is done on the first stitch, stretch the thread, leaving it somewhat loose so that the ring does not close, continue the stitch until the end of the work, repeating the three stitches.

This magazine shows drawings, graphics and applications of tablecloths, individual mats, etc.
