Did you know that on Sunday, November 19, the III National Bobbin Lace Meeting?
This event, organized by the Gádor Bolilleras Association, is a unique opportunity for all the bobbin lace lovers of Spain to meet and share our passion for this traditional art.
Throughout the day, there will be workshops, demonstrations, exhibitions and sales of artisan products. There will also be a bobbin lace contest, in which anyone who wishes can participate.

We tell you more details about the event:
- Workshops: There will be workshops for beginners, intermediate and advanced. In them, you will learn to make bobbin lace from scratch or to improve your technique.
- Demonstrations: You will be able to see the best bolilleras in Spain in action. It's a unique opportunity to learn from their tips and tricks!
- Exhibitions: You will be able to admire the bobbin lace works of the participants. There are pieces of extraordinary beauty and delicacy!
- Sale of artisan products: You can purchase products made with bobbin lace, such as tablecloths, napkins, bags, etc.
The meeting will take place at the Cultural Center of Villa de Gádor, from 9:30 a.m. onwards. Admission is free.
What if you still don't know how to make bobbin lace? Do not worry. At the meeting there will be workshops for beginners. So, there is no excuse not to come!
